Looking at each barnboard art piece, the mind drifts to think of the weather and years that have crafted each mark and colour on the wood carefully selected to create each piece of art.  Sourcing and collecting aged barnboard off the Alberta prairies is a task we cherish, bringing the wood that has served these farms well to new use in order to highlight it's beauty.  This piece is modeled on the unique colored mountain ranges in the US states of Nevada, Arizona and Utah. We were inspired to create this piece by our trip to Zion National Park. Wood used in the piece may vary in colour, depending on what we have available, but we will use a variety of colours and textures of wood in each piece. This size is approximately 48”x15".
